Anwar Jamal Kidwai Mass Communication Research Center (AJK MCRC), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi was established in 1982 by Anwar Jamal Kidwai, the Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University in collaboration with Canadian filmmaker and York University professor James Beveridge and his wife Margaret Beveridge. It was initially funded by a grant from CIDA, the Canadian International Development Agency. It gives training in film and video production at a post-graduate level. ==Overview== The center offers courses including M.A. courses in Mass Communication, Convergent Journalism, Development Communication, Graphics and Animation as well as post graduate diplomas in , Still Photography, Acting and Broadcast Technology. The Center has the course of Convergent Journalism, an integrated master's degree program in print, broadcast, online and photo journalism.
